File Locking
Two powerful locking modes
Prevent accidental overwrites and control concurrent editing with Kenesto’s dual locking system — one automatic, one fully manual.
- Auto Lock: when someone opens a document, others automatically get View Only access
- Vault Mode: designate a folder as a Vault and use Check-Out / Check-In for full manual control
- Checked-out files are fully locked until the user checks them back in
