Building a human-powered submarine is hard enough. Managing the engineering data behind it shouldn’t be.

We’re proud to support the Human Powered Submarine team at UC San Diego, a group of 38 students designing, building, and testing innovative submarines for the International Submarine Races.

After their previous file management platform was discontinued, the team turned to Kenesto to keep their CAD data organized, accessible, and easy to share across the entire project.

As Rylee Quinn, Drivetrain Co-Lead (2025–26) and Captain (2026–27), puts it:

“Kenesto has given me a space to store, organize, and easily access my files for our team project. It allows me to easily share CAD files with the whole team and keep them in a safe, easily accessible place. Balancing project management and my busy schedule as an engineering student has never been easier.”

From award-winning submarine designs to the next generation of engineering talent, we’re honored to play a small part in helping great teams do great work.

Good luck to the team as they prepare Mola Mola for the 2027 International Submarine Races!
